Since 1906, the Alumni Association has worked to promote communication and interaction among alumni, students, faculty, administrators and friends of the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Serving more than 34,000 active alumni, the Association publishes a news magazine, UNK Today; works to develop alumni chapters across the nation; organizes reunions and Homecoming activities; sponsors Student Alumni Foundation; and coordinates the Distinguished Alumni Award, Distinguished Alumni Service Award, and the Athletic Hall of Fame.
